This is another company that’s breaking into another part of car technology. A company called Aptera motors can customize your solar powered car.

These are prototype vehicles that runs on solar power. It can travel up to 1000 miles on a single charge. It gets electrical power from the photovoltaic cells contained in its solar panels converting the sun's energy into electrical energy.

These cars are being tested on the roads and will be available for the public very soon. If you want a solar powered car you will have to pre-order it, the cars go for $30,700 and you can customize it to your liking.

It seems the future will have a good amount of options in purchasing a car , we now have a solar car, electric car and hydrogen car. Aptera is not the only company making solar cars, there is a company called lightyear

They create scalable cutting edge solar system to power the vehicle independently. Lightyear transform the exteriors to create a lot of energy resources to power the vehicle so it enhances the vehicle's range, reduces charging needs and increases driving ability. I think that there are going be a big competition for the future of cars because it seemed as if cars that are electrical needed a charging station but more cars are being invented without the need of finding a electrical charging station.
