As the race continues for the first public use of a Quantum Computer for the regular consumer. A quantum computer company called quantinuum has achieved quantum supremacy, this is a point when a Computer preforms a task faster than a classical computer.
This quantum computer company called quantinuum has made a quantum computer with 56-qubits and outperformed Googles quantum computer by 100 bench mark tests. This is the first time anyone had that much qubits with such low error rates. Now with 56-qubits H2 ( that is the name given to the quantum computer) can work with 16,000,000 X more information than with 32 qubits.
Quantinuum is quantum computer company backed by JP MORGAN Chase. There are a lot of computer companies that are in the race to achieve the first regular computer for the average customer, this may take a while but with so many companies in the race I think it won't be too long.
