The Metaverse is a space that merges physical and digital worlds together. It creates avatars of people in a digital world, they interact with each other in a digital created environment. The Metaverse is a network of interconnected platforms that includes AR(augmented reality), VR(virtual reality) and AI (artificial intelligence).

The Metaverse is expected to have an impact in many areas of society like education, Healthcare, corporate training and social connection. BMW has made a virtual reality of a factory to test how it would work in the real world. Walmart also created a virtual world where shoppers can go in the virtual world to shop and play.
