Humanoid robot that can see through objects
Researchers at MIT has unveiled its humanoid robot that has the ability to see through objects which is done by advanced imaging techniques and sensors. This is done by technique called “mmNorm” that uses mm Wave signals similar to those in Wi-Fi to see through objects like cardboard, plastic and walls.

An algorithm processes the reflection data to estimate th e shape of the objects surface and then reconstruct a 3D image of the hidden object.

This technology is very important because it could be used in many aspect of society. The robots could work in a warehouse and could tell if the merchandise is damaged without opening the box, the other is working as a rescue robot that could find people that are trapped and the other military that can detect the enemy behind walls .
