Jet designed to break the speed of light

The US hypersonic jet has been unveiled and has the potential to break the speed of light.The jet is called the Hermeus Quarter Horse which is an unmanned aircraft designed by the government to test equipments.

It is powered by a turbine based combined cycle engine that combines elements of turbojet and ramjet propulsion. The Quarter horse is equipped with a turbine based combined cycle.

The Quarter horse is expected to go beyond Mach 4, the jet is not designed to break records but to prove that it's possible to travel at the speed of light and to also test new technology.
