Human skin for AI robots
Human skin for AI robots
The University of Tokyo has carried out a research that experiences real human skin for robots. The skin tissues are able to bind to varied surfaces of a machine.

The skin is able to move to make the robot have facial reactions. The possibility of 3D facial mold and 2D skin for a robot covered with living skin can be created. The goal is to mimic human skin ligaments by gelling skin tissues through perforation.

This gives the robots the ability to smile and have other facial expressions. This is another step to make robots as real as a human, where differentiating humans from robots you will have to say “ are you a robot”.
