First human and robot marathon

China will be the first country to have robots and humans running together in a half marathon. This will be taking place in Beijing Daxing district on April 13, 2025 and it will be a 21-kilometer half marathon.

The event aims to showcase China's advancement in Robotics and AI, and to promote the country's robotic sector. The robots participating will be humanoid, bipedal models and fully autonomous.

These are signs that robots are beginning to be integrated into society and will be more than just side attractions and will be important to our everyday lifestyle.
