Solar panels on railway tracks to power trains
Switzerland has unveiled there solar powered railway tracks that is being done by Sun Ways project, they are testing the use of solar panels installed between railway tracks to generate electricity. The solar panels electricity are fed into a power grid which then is fed back into the train.

These solar panels can be used to power homes and even the trains, they are removable which allows maintaining of the tracks. The idea of the project is to feed the grid to power homes but the overall idea is to create renewable electricity for the trains.

This is a great idea because it provides a greener energy for the trains and also other energy needs that the power grid can supply electricity to.
