China creates oxygen in space

China invented a way to create oxygen in space and it's called artificial photosynthesis. It is currently being used on the Tiangongspace station. The astronauts has successfully found a way to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen.

This is where carbon dioxide and water are converted into oxygen using sunlight and catalysts, essentially copying the process on earth, this also produces components for rocket fuel as a byproduct.

This is a great invention because it allows the astronauts a lot of oxygen that can be made on the space station without carrying oxygen tanks into space.
