Amazon is beginning to use humanoid robots to do must of the totes, which includes receiving and sending them out. These totes have a scanner on them , when the robots take up the tote they scan the barcode to know what to do with it.

These robots can put packages into the totes and will know what tote to put it in. There are totes with different packages that goes in different totes so they have to scan and sort each package and to do it in a good pace because it can build up and cause a jam on the conveyor so these robots have to be accurate and fast.

This is another step in the Revolution of humanoid robots that are quietly becoming everywhere and I believe that somewhere in the future there will be laws made just for humanoid robots and how they will function with people.
