A Second Moon for Earth
Earth now has a second moon as of September 29, 2024. It's called a mini moon although it is an asteroid called PT5.

The mini moon is very small and cannot be seen with bare eyes from earth. The mini moon was caught in the gravitational pull of the earth and is now orbits around the earth.

The mini moon is no bigger than a school bus and will be in orbit until November 25,2024. This is not the first time a asteroid got caught in the earths gravitational pull, this happened in 2022 and was called NX1.
