The global market is about $400 billion. In the US alone there are 214 million gamers. Why is this so? . Sony isn't the only online game console but it's easier for gamers to buy new games, you can go on the internet listen to music and also watch movies. Sony interactive Entertainment Inc's new patent is centered around the PlayStation 5 console to detect harassment or cyber bullying through biometric analysis use of players and AI. Nintendo is the oldest active video game company in the world, it has been making console from 1983. It is also a company from Japan. The Nintendo gaming console has been using cartridges for all of its console from this 1983 until now, why? It is said that the cartridge is better for Nintendo, although disc's are cheaper Nintendo cartridges has the advantages of faster load times. You can use the Nintendo switch on the go or hook it up to your TV. They offer downloaded games but must be connected to the internet, it is going to take a while because it's downloading a lot of information but with the cartridges it's faster to play and all you do is insert the cartridge in the console. They was a time when you could not carry your console around with you. Nintendo made in the 80’s a gaming device called a Gameboy you could carry it around and it needed cartridges to play the games but it's like Nintendo went back to that Gameboy idea and it has been about 40 years in the future and it seems like a modern idea but it is almost the same as the Gameboy but with a few technological upgrades. It's like all modern technologies, there's always something that was invented years ago but was not possible because the technologies weren't there, example cars, electricity and I could go on. So will Nintendo ever stop using cartridges? That may not happen anytime soon.
